Lenskart Return, Refund & Exchange Policy

INTRODUCTION

In 2010, Peyush Bansal, a former employee of Microsoft, Sumeet Kapahi, and Amit Chaudhary created Lenskart.com. To imitate Titan Company’s operation, early backer IDG Ventures India (2011) instructed the company to also sell wristwatches, purses, and jewelry online. The company debuted Watchkart.com and Bagskart.com in 2011, while Jewelskart.com was launched the following year. In order to concentrate on the eyewear market, the company shut down its other three websites at the end of 2014, leaving only Lenskart.com online.

RETURN/EXCHANGE POLICY:

14 DAYS FOR EYEGLASSES AND 7 DAYS FOR SUNGLASSES

We promise to give you top-notch merchandise. In the extremely unlikely event that you’re not happy with our product and discover it’s not ‘As described’ on our website or that it arrives in ‘damaged’ condition, you can ask for an exchange or refund within 14 days of receiving your order for eyeglasses and within 7 days of receiving your order for sunglasses from Lenskart’s in-house brands.

The following items are not eligible for exchange or refund:

Contact lenses: These can only be accepted through the customer service center if they are unworn and, in rare circumstances, still in their original sealed outer packing after 14 days. Contact lenses cannot be swapped; only refunds are accepted.

Eyewear: Exchanges and refunds are not permitted for [Eyeglasses, Sunglasses, Reading Glasses] that have the following issues:

Scratches on the lens or frame that weren’t there when the product was delivered. To guarantee that the goods reach you in perfect condition, we conduct a thorough three-step quality check.

goods mishandled after delivery, resulting in evident intentional damage and deformation of the goods.

The case for the eyeglasses or any other standard packing is ripped, damaged, or not in the original state.

Accessories: Accessories (include contact lens solution, bag, and cleaner) cannot be exchanged or refunded.

Gold Membership: This membership is non-refundable after it is purchased.

Return in Part in BOGO: Exchanges and store credits are only available for partial returns if the Buy One Get One promotion is used. All of the products in the order must be returned in order to receive a full refund.

Visit the closest retailer:

  • Deliver your item to the chosen retailer along with all of its accessories.
  • The merchandise will be inspected by Lenskart. At the store, you can get your spectacles adjusted.
  • In accordance with our policy, you may return an item or receive a refund if necessary.

Schedule Pick-Up:

Pick-up service is 100% free and is offered in a few cities.

After that, we would schedule a pickup at your address in a matter of 2 to 5 days.

Maintain the items and all accessories prepared for pickup.

You can select a product for a refund or exchange, depending on the policy.

Once the returned item reaches us, the exchange product will be shipped or the refund will be credited.

Deliver the Product to Lenskart

Place the return label on the box after packing the goods. We’ll send the label to you via email.

Choose a courier provider and ship the item to the specified location at Lenskart. (After we receive the product, we will pay you up to Rs.100)

Once the returned item reaches us, you can choose which product to replace or claim a refund in accordance with policy.

Options for Exchange and Refund:

Exchange Options: (Most Popular)

The following exchange kinds are possible:

  • Obtain a new piece of the same frame and lens package (or coating, if added) with the same frame and same lens package.
  • with a new lens package but the same frame- Purchase a new section of the same frame and upgrade to a different lens package (or coating); you will be responsible for any additional costs associated with the upgrade.
  • With a different frame and lens package: You can select from a variety of alternative frames and lens packages. You will need to pay the difference in price between the new and old products.

Refund Options:

In the event that you would choose not to exchange your purchase, you have the following options for getting your money back:

  • Immediately credited to your account following pickup
  • Utilize in opposition to any product
  • Utilize both in-person and online
  • Permanent validity

Return to source

You will receive your money back from the original retailer where you bought the item, for example. If you made a payment of Rs. 100 using store credit and Rs. 1500 using a debit card, you will receive a refund in store credit and debit card, respectively.

Once the merchandise has reached us in its original condition, the sum will be credited to your account in 1–5 business days for wallets/debit cards and 7–10 days for credit card payments.

Note: The money will flow into SC and the original payment method, respectively, if it is purchased with StoreCredit + Online.

Transfer to Bank (available for offline or online orders with Cash on Delivery)

To collect the refund, you will need to provide your bank account information or UPI. A link to share your bank account information and UPI will be sent to you once Lenskart receives the product.

Within a day, the money will be credited to your account.

Note: The exchange/refund procedure must have been started by you within 14 days of receiving your merchandise.

Orders paid with cash on delivery will not be refunded.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Since we create each lens by hand, in the unlikely event that you decide to cancel your order, we are unable to use a lens that has been cut just for you. But we want you to be able to test us out without any danger at all.
