DMart Return, Refund & Exchange Policy


DMart is a series of one-stop supermarkets that seeks to provide consumers with a large selection of essential personal and home goods under one roof. Every DMart shop carries a wide range of home utility products, which our consumers find affordable. These products include food, cosmetics, clothing, kitchenware, bed and bath linens, and appliances. Our main goal is to provide consumers with high-quality goods at competitive prices.

Mr. Radhakishan Damani and his family founded DMart in order to meet the expanding demands of the Indian family. Since opening its first store in Powai in 2002, DMart has grown to become a well-known brand with 347 sites in Gujarat, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Telangana, Chhattisgarh, NCR, Tamil Nadu, Punjab, and Rajasthan. Our company is expanding, with more stores in more cities planned, as we strive to be the lowest priced retailer in the areas we serve.


Within 7 days after the invoice date, products bought on our website may be returned for a refund at any DMart Ready Pick-up Point:

The product is brand new and hasn’t been tampered with in any way.

The product comes with the original purchase invoice and is undamaged and in sellable condition.

Once approved by you, The following products cannot be returned or refunded:

  • Perishable foods like cheese, butter, dahi, fruits, vegetables, etc.
  • Festive and seasonal goods like gift bags and lights for decorations, etc.
  • Things acquired in large quantities.
  • Personal hygiene products including handkerchiefs, socks, underwear, and makeup.
  • Fresh flowers and other non-food products.

Important Notes:

  • Only product returns are accepted for reimbursement. We don’t offer product exchanges.
  • Online purchases made through our services are only eligible for returns at our DMart Ready Pick-up Points; returns at our normal DMart locations are not accepted. To locate the closest DMart Ready Pick-up Point.
  • It is not possible to return merchandise from our physical DMart stores to a DMart Ready Pick-up location.

The same payment method that was used to buy the item online will be used by AEL to issue you a refund. Products that were bought online with credit cards, debit cards, internet banking, or UPI will have their refunds refunded back to the original bank account. Refunds for goods bought with Cash (Cash on Delivery) will also be given in cash.

AEL disclaims all liability with regard to the quality of any product, whether direct or indirect. Goods covered by a manufacturer’s warranty or guarantee cannot be returned to AEL since they are covered by the manufacturer’s after-sale service. AEL disclaims any liability, both direct and indirect, for products covered by warranties or guarantees offered by manufacturers.

Any issues in this regard would be brought before Mumbai courts with appropriate authority.

AEL retains the right to change or amend any of the terms and conditions of this policy at any time and without giving any notice or explanation. AEL’s decision on the aforementioned will be final, and you must adhere to it without reservation.

At DMart Ready, we don’t support returning a product for a different one. Nonetheless, you have seven days from the time you accept the delivery to return the goods to any of our DMart Ready Pick Up Points.

Refund Process:

If you return the item or items within 7 days of accepting delivery, your refund will be processed using the original payment method.

If you paid in cash for the item at the time of delivery, you will be reimbursed in cash as long as you return it within seven days of accepting delivery.

If you paid online, the refund procedure will start as soon as we acquire your returned items.

As soon as we start processing your refund request, we will send you an SMS and/or email. The amount is typically processed by the bank within 3 to 5 business days.
