redBus PNR Status

Step 1: Open the redBus application

You will see the Home page of Redbus Application.

Step 2: Select My Bookings

  • From the search results, you can enter the start (From) and destination (To) areas, then select the journey date.
  • Click on the search buses.
  • You can see various buses, then select your convenient bus with time and services.  
  • select the option ‘My booking’.

Step 3: Choose the journey you want to follow.

Step 4: Scroll down and select “View in Map” under “Drops Point Details.”

Step 5: A map with your bus’s route and location highlighted will appear. It displays your bus as a red bus.

Using the redBus website

 Step 1: Open the redBus website

Step 2: Select the “Track Bus” tab.

Step 3: Type in your booking ID or PNR number.

Step 4: Select the “Track Bus” button. Your bus’s current location will be displayed on a map for you to see.

Using the redBus SMS tracking service

Send an SMS to 56677 with the following format:

TRACK <booking ID>

Example: TRACK 1234567890

A text message with your bus’s current location will be sent to you.


  • Before confirming the ticket, always check the My Booking option twice.
  • Type in the accurate time and date.
  • Make sure your internet connection is steady so there are no disruptions while the process is underway.
  • Bookmark the Redbus Application for easy access to their services.

It is recommended that users give the bus operator a call to inquire about the precise boarding location and any other information they might require to board or proceed with the trip.

When boarding the bus, passengers must present a copy of their ticket along with a valid form of identification, such as a voter identification card, passport, Aadhar card, PAN card, or other identity verified by a government agency.

It is necessary for users to arrive at the boarding location at least half an hour ahead of the planned departure time.

Every ticket that is sold cannot be transferred.


Cancellation of tickets can be done either through the User’s login in the redBus’s website or mobile application, or by calling on the customer care number.

Any cancellation is subject to such cancellation charges as specified on the ticket.


Rescheduling (i.e., changing the date of travel) for tickets can be accomplished by contacting the customer service staff or by logging in to the redBus website or mobile application. Only a few bus operators offer this option. The e-ticket will have the policy for the same available.

The fees shown on the e-ticket apply when rescheduling a ticket. If a fare differential exists, the consumer is responsible for paying it. The fare difference will not be reimbursed, nevertheless, if the rescheduled ticket’s price is less than the current fare.

If appropriate, rescheduling a ticket is only available once per booking. The ticket cannot be changed after the trip date change option is used.
