BoAt Return, Refund & Exchange policy

INTRODUCTION

BoAt sailed its first voyage in 2016. Our founders, Sameer Mehta and Aman Gupta, saw the enormous gaps in the Indian audio and wearable markets and decided to create boAt with the goal of creating a lifestyle brand that uses wearables and music to improve people’s quality of life.


In addition to being the top audio brand in India, boAt is currently the second-largest wearable brand in the world (IDC Q3 2022). After seven years, boAt is now an essential component of discussions about culture among a wide range of audiences, including the younger generation, lifestyle influencers, audiophiles, and many more. As a result, boAt is now a supporter of full expression, daring experiences, and discovery.

RETURN & REPLACEMENT POLICY

Replacing a product is only permitted in the following situations:

Within seven days of the delivery date, the customer may exchange the product unit they received for a replacement and have it delivered to them.

If, within 24 hours after receiving the product, the customer proves that it was delivered in a defective state or has physical damage, a replacement can be issued.

If the consumer determines within 7 days of the delivery date that the product is not working properly, they may receive a replacement with a brand-new box unit.

Please notify our online support team if you receive any damaged or defective merchandise. However, the request will only be considered when a member of the boAt team has independently verified the information. After boAt receives the products, this is usually relayed back to the consumer within 24 hours.

Within 24 hours of receiving the product, you must notify our website support team if you believe it is not as described on the website or meets the specifications. Following an investigation into your complaint, the website support staff will make the proper determination.

If a replacement is needed, the courier guy we arrange will pick up the entire product box, including the product and all of its attachments, undamaged.

Replacements are not available for the following types of products:

  • The customer is dissatisfied with the way a flawless product looks and sounds.
  • If physical damage is not reported within a day of the merchandise being received.
  • An electrical spike or whatever harm the user may have done.

Please be aware that there will be no refunds or returns. Nonetheless, the consumer may obtain a replacement by exchanging the product unit they received within 7 days of the delivery date.

CANCELLATION POLICY

With a generous cancellation policy, we aim to assist our customers to the best of our ability. However, in accordance with this policy:

Requests for cancellations won’t be accepted if the customers have already been informed of the orders and have started the delivery process.

Orders placed under the Same Day Delivery category cannot be cancelled.

Items that were purchased for special occasions cannot be returned or cancelled. (Since these are special-occasion specials, cancellations are not accepted.)

REFUND POLICY

We will email you to confirm receipt of the parcel as soon as we get your return cargo at our warehouse.

Within 30 days of receiving the returned package, we will issue a refund for the full cost of the items you returned.

Within 7 days of the delivery date, the customer may exchange the product unit they received for a replacement and have it delivered to them.

Within 24 hours of receiving the product, if the client can demonstrate that it was delivered in a defective state or that it was physically damaged, a replacement can be provided.

Legally, retailers are not required to give you a refund if you change your mind about an item you purchased, even if you purchased the wrong colour or size. (Things change if the products are defective.)

In actuality, a lot of stores have more lenient return policies. Stores must follow their published return policies if they have them.
