Right? I mean I’m not stupid. Naïve? Sure. Sometimes. But straight-up stupid? Nah, except for my cat. I am stupid for my cat. I know all the many, many, many problems from 2020 didn’t magically disappear when the clock struck midnight and we all shouted Jumamji (just in case). Nope. They still exist but some brighter and better lights are also shining too.

It feels that way, right? It’s just not me, right? One day I see the Four Horsemen on the horizon (or maybe I’m numb to the fact we’re in the midst of the apocalypse already and just hallucinating at this point) or everything is finally starting to go our way and a light emerges at the end of a dark, dark and extremely long tunnel. There is no in-between. Everything sucks. Or everything is awesome. It’s enough to make an introvert glad we’re suppose to quarantine … even if we don’t.

Also food I could share with co-workers to prevent me from noshing on the whole pan, because self-control ain’t my strength.

Yes, I know. One book is probably not super brag-worthy but since I haven’t read a new-to-me book since September or October, it feels pretty amazing. Or sad. Maybe a bit of both? And sure, maybe I finished reading the book Sunday night but let’s not lose sight of the main point: I read something and I’m participating in the Show Us Your Books link-up again. Yay Tanya! You are such a good, committed reader. Or committable. Sometimes I get confused. 😉 Moving on, folks. Nothing to see here!
