I head off to Minnesota shortly and fingers crossed a blizzard doesn’t greet me. It’s been really mild back home until now, because, of course, the snow and cold want to make an appearance ๐ It seems like every year I worry about whether or not the weather will cooperate with me and I always make it home. I trust that tradition will hold.
Thank You, Thank You, Thank You!
Before I sign off for the year, I wanted to thank you, dear readers. I am honored that you choose to spend a portion of your day with me. You inspire me; challenge me to do better; to think differently. It’s a privilege to be a part of this wonderful community.
A Little Down-Time for Me
I’ll briefly be back on December 26 for the year-end Show Us Your Books Link-Up but otherwise, it will be quiet on the blog with less blog-hopping and commenting from me. And probably … unless chaos breaks out (ahem) … quiet on social media too. The social media detox and break will do me good but I’ll be back on January 4.
In between hanging out with my family and celebrating Christmas (and stuffing my face with everything that I haven’t been able to eat for weeks and actively dream about eating) I’ll be working on some post ideas and finalizing my goals for 2018. Oh, who am I kidding? Not finalizing but actually trying to figure out what I want to accomplish next year! ๐
To A New, More Progressive Year in 2018
It’s been a difficult year and yet there is also much to celebrate too. I choose to focus on the good and to fully support the seismic shift we experienced in 2017. Change isn’t easy. Sometimes days are dismal and dark but darkness fades and light returns. I plan to help that light rise stronger and shine brighter than it ever has and I hope you’ll join me!
I wish everyone a very Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays, Happy Hanukkah, Happy Kwanza, Happy Solstice and Happy December 25th and safe travels over the holidays. And here’s to an amazing 2018! We can make it better!
Tanya
happy holidays! enjoy your time back home. we’re supposed to get a shit ton of snow the next few days which sucks but i guess it’s good that we’ll have a white, snowy christmas.
It was extremely cold back in Minnesota but we had a brown Christmas. I feel like if it’s going to be that cold, there should be snow on the ground. ๐ It did feel good to get back to California and 80 degrees (it’s cooled down now).
Have a safe trip & a wonderful &blessed,Christmas & praying for an incredible 2018
Thanks, Rebecca Jo! I had a great Christmas and hope you did as well. And I’m praying for an incredible 2018 for everyone too! We deserve it!
Enjoy your time!
Hell better not break loose!
Thanks, Steph! Thankfully it didn’t or not anymore than normal. ๐
Happiest of Holidays, Tanya!! We’ll miss ya in the blog world between now and Jan. 4th (mius the 26th!). Enjoy your break and eat lots of yummy food!!
Safe travels, friend!
Thanks, Audrey. I hope you had a wonderful holiday season too! I caught a cold so I could use a few more days off (I’m also extremely greedy) but I’m ready for 2018!
