First up, let’s address the elephant … no wait … make that donkey in the room: we have a new president!!! It’s been an emotional rollercoaster of various highs, lows and WTF moments since the election, but mostly I feel a deep sense of relief, like maybe every day won’t end (or begin) with a primal scream. I’ll share more thoughts about this later but in celebration, let’s act like we’re not in the midst of surging pandemic and talk turkey.

Hmmmm … maybe a more apocalyptic title then I intended but still … true. And let’s be real — all of us have worried at least once in the past two years that someone might accidentally, on purpose blow up the world. Or was that just me? No, I didn’t think so. What We’re Grateful this Thanksgiving
Tis the week of Thanksgiving which means it’s time for my annual Gratitude List. Normally, I do this over at Eat Laugh Purr but since I’m no longer regularly posting over there, it shall become a tradition here. Of course, Max always joined me and it wouldn’t feel right to exclude him, so please welcome back Max, aka the Coolest Cat.
Happy Thanksgiving
Thanksgiving is just a few days away and I am ready, mostly. My elastic waistband pants are clean and ready to wear. I’ve got yummy food planned for Thursday through Sunday. That’s right — Thanksgiving is a four-day food fest in my home. Glorious, glorious food. And it’s all mine! Cue maniacal laugh.
What I am Thankful for This Thanksgiving
Thanksgiving is almost here. I’ve got my stretchy Thanksgiving pants ready to go, so I can stuff myself silly with … well, stuffing. 🙂 Before I put myself into a food coma, I wanted to share with you what I am thankful for this Thanksgiving. I consider myself to be a grateful person, but I don’t always take the time to express my gratitude or give thanks for my blessings as I should. It’s why one of my annual Thanksgiving rituals is to write a list of all the things I am grateful for in my life.
