I’m baaaaaack! As I mentioned earlier, my grandma celebrated her 90TH BIRTHDAY and I went back to Minnesota to party hard with her. Okay, get together with family and reminisce while eating lots of food because party hard when you’re 90 means something different than when you were 21. ๐ A responsible, forward-planning Tanya would have prewritten some posts but I ain’t that gal. Some day. Maybe.
5 Things I’m Looking Forward to this Fall
I don’t know when Fall officially begins and I’m far too lazy to google it. But what I do know is that you can buy your cat some devil ears for his Halloween costume at Target and order a Pumpkin Spice Latte at Starbucks, so it must be Fall. Yes, I base season beginnings on store offerings versus actual official dates chosen by God or some scientist. Or worse — a politician. ๐ It’s not completely my fault either. LA is fairly season-less. I mean in Minnesota you knew it was winter when it was 80 below and a whiteout.
My Favorite Fall Things
I’m not going to lie, folks. September was somewhat of a meh month for me. Nothing bad or awful has happened. It just was — meh. Previously, I might have sunk into the meh for a long period, but I’m getting better at recognizing when it happens and pulling myself out, eventually. One way I do that is through gratitude and appreciating all the blessings in my life, so today I’m giving thanks for my favorite season: glorious Fall.
