Per tradition, I’m sharing a recipe for my Dad in honor of Father’s Day. I started this on my old blog, Eat Laugh Purr, and it only seems right to continue it here. Food is one way I express love and appreciation and I actually spend quite a bit of time trying to figure out what recipe to feature for Mother’s and Father’s Day. I want it to be something they would obviously enjoy but also reminds me of them too.
This whole month I thought Thanksgiving was the week following the current week. And it wasn’t. But now, it finally is! I happen to love Thanksgiving because it’s all about food. And I am a gal who loves me some food. I got my stretchy pants all picked out and plan on testing their endurance. Yes, I’m eating healthy these days but that doesn’t mean I can’t indulge on special occasions. In fact, I’ve been saving all my calories and carbs for Turkey Day!
Oh man. I love these. LOVE. THESE. They are yummy in my tummy. Delicious. Fantastic. I could eat my weight in them. Okay, I probably couldn’t do that last one, but I’d be up for trying! 😀 What can I say? I am a big kid at heart and this kid loves pizza, especially homemade pizza rolls.
Appetizers or snacks are my absolute favorite. Sure, I love a chocolate cupcake with cream cheese filling or a nice bowl of creamy mashed potatoes. But I am the kind of girl who can and will make a meal out of appetizers, especially something as good as this spicy beer cheese dip. That’s right, I said beer! This is also the part where I mention eating healthy is a 2017 goal. It’s about balance, right?
