Christmas is just a few days away, and ya betcha I’m headed back to Minnesota. When I first saw the movie Fargo, I was all insulted and indignant, because even though I liked it, we most certainly do not talk so goofy. Ummmm … but we do. To be fair, not every Minnesotan’s accent is so Fargo-esque, but some definitely are. Since I moved to California, I can really hear it. ๐ I’ve been a SoCal girl long enough that I probably have some weird, hybrid Valley Girl Minnesota accent. Eek. Or OMG! Or uff-da. Whatever works.
Before I leave palm trees and sandy beaches for the frozen tundra, I want to wish everyone a very, Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. A Mindful Migration is still in her infancy, but everyone has made me feel so welcome. Best. Present. Ever.
To celebrate the season, I’m taking the remainder of the year off. Beyond visiting my family, I plan to get a little R&R, read a book (or two or three), snuggle with the Max Man and finalize my goals. I’m truly looking forward to 2016 and can’t wait to see what the new year brings. Fingers crossed it brings great joy, abundance and peace to all.
Wishing everyone a safe and joyous holiday season and see you in 2016!
Tanya
